“I think it is possible for ordinary people to choose to be extraordinary.” -Elon Musk

Reading about a biography of Elon Musk sparked my interest in science and coding. I was surprised that he started coding at the age of 10. Thus, I was convinced that I could learn and explore coding at a young age.

I started learning to code at Roboto in 2022. I learnt Scratch, Mbot, CoSpaces, Thunkable, Microbit ,HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and Python. Upon looking at my strong interest in coding, other than learning at Roboto this year, my parents introduced me to a website called Udemy where there are many online courses to choose from. I chose the course- 100 Days of Code: The Complete Python Bootcamp. Till date, I have self-studied and completed 30 days of lessons online. It was a great sense of achievement for me as I saw my potential to be an extraordinary being in time to come.

My Accomplishments

My website that I made using Bootstrap to introduce Singapore to tourists:

I also made three games using PyTurtle in Python:

These three games are memorable to me as I single handedly created them after self-studying in Udemy. I faced difficulties and it took me a while to locate the error and fix it. When I was creating the games, I had the target players in my mind such as young children of age 7-12.
